What is the real root cause?

While many experts still believe that “All disease begins in the gut. So, by healing the gut, you could reverse intolerances and sensitivities.”, I cannot relate 100% to this quote. It is a part of a whole aspect that we have to face and correlates with another more important aspect.

People are trying to heal their gut for many years. They are eating the healthiest foods, take all the good supplements which are recommended and try out different exercises. But after all this effort, the intolerances and sensitivities still doesn’t disappear. What is the other aspect that we have to face, you think?

First, let me ask you these questions: What do you think controls the gut or digestion? How does the gut know how to move? How does the stomach know how much acid is needed? How does the body know how much enzymes have to be produced?

Do you notice that the gut is just part of it, but not the real root cause? So, if it’s not the gut, what is it then and what controls all of these bodily functions?

It’s the autonomic nervous system.

 

What do intolerances/sensitivities have to do with the autonomic nervous system?

The autonomic nervous system is a control system that acts largely unconsciously and regulates bodily functions, such as the heart rate, digestion, respiratory rate, pupillary response, urination, and sexual arousal. This system is the primary mechanism in control of the fight-or-flight response.

Also, every single information of the carbohydrates that we eat is stored in our brain, via the autonomic nervous system. This means that all organs know how to function when food is on its way.

Saving this information begins as soon as we are born. You can imagine it that way. A baby is born with a brain that does not contain any information about food because it has never eaten on its own. Like a computer with an empty hard drive that has yet to be programmed.

One day the programming begins, e.g. with a piece of banana. The brain signals certain carbohydrates such as fructose and sucrose through the banana. The information is forwarded directly to the organs of the body. They now know exactly how to react to it. The following factors play a role here: gastric acid, bile acid, enzyme production, the movement of the intestine and much more. One carbohydrate after the other is programmed. As a result, people live in harmony and without digestive problems.

 

What causes food intolerances / sensitivities?

The information of the carbohydrates in the autonomic nervous system can be disrupted by various life circumstances. Experts assume that there can be connections with viruses, bacteria (gastrointestinal infections), antibiotics, finished meals, pollutants, unbalanced diet, stress, Chron disease (intestinal inflammation), irritable bowel syndrome and much more. As a result, the information is incorrectly recoded and the autonomic nervous system can no longer perceive the carbohydrates correctly. Like a virus on the hard drive of your computer. The consequence of this is a reduced or overreaction by the nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is controlled subconsciously. We therefore cannot control or direct it directly. You don’t have to concentrate on producing the right amount of stomach acid. The body does this all by itself if it receives the right information. And this is exactly where my methodology comes in.
